Rita Veludo.
Disco, Edits, BoogieLisbon, PTDisco, edits and boogie for long afternoons.
// Biography
Rita Veludo has spent fifteen years in the record shops and flea markets of Lisbon, and her sets show it: Italo and Portuguese boogie, 80s Brazilian soul and her own edits of Cape Verdean funaná, rarely above 118 BPM.
She plays where the light is: rooftop Sundays, terrace parties, the first slot of an open-air before the sun goes down. Since 2021 she has run Domingo Lento, a monthly day party on a roof in Marvila that sells out without announcing a line-up.
Her edits come out on her own label, Mão Cheia, as numbered 12-inches of 300 copies. Volume 4 sold out in a week in 2025. She plays vinyl and USB in the same set and will ask for a turntable before she asks for anything else.
