// Biography
Duccio Vanni has played more than 400 weddings since 2012, most of them in the villas and farmhouses between Florence, Chianti and the Val d'Orcia. He plays the whole day, not only the party: jazz and bossa for the aperitivo, the first dance mixed from the couple's own edit, then a dance floor that runs from Italian classics to disco and house and whatever the friends from London asked for on the planning call.
Couples meet him twice before the date, and his music questionnaire comes in Italian, English and German. He brings his own sound and ceremony microphones, so the planner deals with one supplier.
Destination weddings are two thirds of his calendar. June and September book eighteen months ahead.
